And just like that Christmas was over and a brand new year had just began.

I can’t believe how quickly Christmas came and went, I can’t believe it’s all over and reality is about to hit full force. Every year the short Christmas break seems to go by faster and faster, it barely feels like I’ve had anytime away from work to recharge my batteries.

But as this is the first lifestylelisa post of 2020 I don’t want to start it on a negative.

This is my first post of 2020, 365 days of a brand new year, 365 days to make a difference to my life. A new year, a new start and 365 new possibilities.

This year I haven’t made any New Years resolutions, I never stick to them anyway, so the past few years I have decided against making them. I will though absolutely try to be the best version of myself, and maybe not take things to heart, and try to over think things a lot less than I currently do.

So instead of resolutions this year I have set myself goals, things I want to do and achieve by the end of 2020. Some of the goals are small, whilst others are quite big. But I have decided that this has to be the year of change and to do things for me.

2019 was a great year, and of course as I’ve mentioned in previous posts I managed to fit in quite a lot into 365 days, which included buying and moving into my first house with Luke. Not content with just ticking that off of the list for 2019, I managed to squeeze in a few more things – A trip to New York, climbing Scafell Pike, and watching a couple of new West End productions to name but a few.

I am hoping to continue ticking things off of the list for 2020, and really hoping for an exciting year ahead. A year to travel to new places, to explore more with Luke, to spend more time with family and to make time for friends. I am also hoping to make more time to push my blog even further than I managed to in 2019. It’s challenging tiring and exhausting at times, but one day I hope it will all be worth it.

It’s a brand new year, for a brand new start and I am excited for all things to come and to make new and more amazing memories.

Of course more than anything really hope and pray for a healthy and happy 2019 for all of mine and Luke’s family and friends, and of course for us.

Finally to everyone who for this past year and actually since I started my blogging journey has read, subscribed, liked or followed lifestylelisa – Thank you so much, it really mean so much to me. 2020 will be my 3rd year of blogging, and I really hope to continue to make lifestylelisa better and gain (hopefully fingers crossed) more followers and subscribers.

So now that just leaves me with one final thing to say – Happy New Year to all you lovely people.??
