Christmas may have flown by at a dramatic speed, and 2019 is almost here, but I still have lots of festive things to write about!

Starting with The Elf on the Shelf—whether you find him cute, annoying or somewhere in between, he’s everywhere these days, making the holiday season even more complicated for parents…… and me actually, as this year I decided that I would have some elf on the shelf fun of my own. I mean it’s the festive season, and Christmas is not just for kids, so why couldn’t I join in the newest and latest craze?…..

Here in the Taylor household what started out as a funny prank on my mum turned into a full on mission/competition to get the best elf on the shelf idea.

How many?!

It’s been so much fun, and challenging trying to think up ideas, and making each one better than the last! Some of the scenes have also as you can imagine been absolutely hilarious!!

We actually got to the stage where we were heading into charity shops to find props!! My mums ideas were hilarious and to be honest I was always a little excited at waking up in the morning and finding out what crazy idea she had come up with. It was pretty fun and we definitely got to add some adult humour to the whole elf on the shelf idea.

It was I have to say a pretty sad day when we said goodbye to them (all six of them) on the 24th Of December.

I thought I would share the hilarious photos I managed to take throughout December, admittedly some were not as funny as others, but nevertheless we tired our best.

How it all started
