I love West End musicals, and always have done ever since I was a little girl. I have been lucky enough to see some absolutely amazing shows on the West End stage, and have sat there wide eyed watching the talented performers and taking it all in.

Out of all the shows I have been lucky enough to see there is one that stands out more than the rest, and has firmly been given the title of my favourite show!

Of course I am talking about Bat Out Of Hell!

I was lucky enough to see this show back in August 2017 when Luke surprised me for my birthday with front row tickets. I knew before I had even seen the show I would enjoy it, but once I had seen it, it was a whole new level of enjoyment, I absolutely LOVED it!

In fact I pretty much raved about it SO much that Luke got us tickets to go and see it for the 2nd time on the 28/04/2018. Once again he absolutely out did himself with the seats, and there we were front row ready to rock!

Where do I even begin with this show, from start to finish I am captivated, the energy from the cast is insane, and they really do leave you all revved up, and wanting more!!

It’s the only show I have ever seen where you are laughing one minute and literally in tears the next, I’m not even exaggerating either, in fact Luke actually wondered what was wrong with me, until I explained that the show was just so amazing!

Bat Out Of Hell is essentially a love story, a tale of two star crossed lovers, think Romeo and Juliet meets Peter Pan meets West Side Story with a bit of Mad Max thrown in! Only darker, edgier and dare I say it, a whole lot better!!

Set in post-apocalyptic Manhattan (now named “Obsidian”), the show follows Strat, the forever young leader of The Lost who has fallen in love with Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical ruler of Obsidian.

Of course with a title like Bat Out Of Hell you can expect to hear all the fantastic Meat Loaf classics “Bat Out Of Hell” I would do anything for love” “Dead Ringer for love” plus many many more!

The good news is you don’t even need to be a Meat Loaf fan to enjoy the show!! But it really does help, and anyway who doesn’t love Meat Loaf?!….

With an unbelievable on stage set, an incredible cast, fantastic songs, you can also expect strobe lighting, lots of tight leather, gun shots, live filming, a motor bike a car, AND YES, a chain saw!!

It is everything and more that you could possibly want from a West end show, I could watch it over and over again.

Seriously need I say a more?! An absolute 10/10 of a show!! Go book it now!!

On a side note………Luke…. PLEASE can we go see it again?….. please??

That should work, hopefully!!
