Too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right. F Scott Fitzgerald
Saturday night 25/03/2018 Luke and I had the pleasure of celebrating one of my best friends (Emma’s) Birthday! But this wasn’t to be just any old birthday party, this was a 1920’s Gatsby themed birthday party! Emma has decided she wanted an 1920’s themed 30th since sometime last year, and had spent a long time planning this event. She really didn’t miss out any detail. Everything looked absolutely amazing. From the props, down to the food! We did a bit of pre prepping the week before, just to make sure we were good to go on the Saturday. Even Emma’s cat Dave decided he wanted to be on the party planning too! Of course for such a grand event we all had to make sure we looked our best. The 1920’s dress code was mandatory, and for the occasion I decided along with Emma to get my hair and make up done, well it seemed rude not too really! Make up was curtesy of the very talented and lovely Maggie and hair was by the birthday girl Emma!I managed to find myself a pretty good looking gangster for the evening, underneath that hat he was rocking a pretty impressive side parting! Not sure he will be too impressed I shared that!I believe the two of scrubbed up pretty well! With costumes on, and hair and make up done we were good to party 1920’a style! Absolutely everyone who attended the party dressed accordingly and looked the part, it was really nice to see people making the effort. This is by far one of my favourite themes! All the glitz and glamour of 1920’s Hollywood! It was such a great party one definitely to remember! And the most important thing was the Birthday girl loved every single minute, she was the centre of attention, looked amazing and danced the night away.
