Waking up on the last day of any holiday is always a sad moment but it’s even sadder when it’s the final day of you Walt Disney World holiday!
First and last days of any of my Disney holidays are always spent at Magic Kingdom, it’s tradition after all!
Seeing as it was our last day we had to make it count, so of course breakfast was the first stop of the day, and this morning we were dinning with pooh bear and friends at Crystal Palace! Our reservation was for a nice and early 8am!

Crystal Palace is another one of my favourite dinning experiences. Luke and I had lunch there back in 2016 which was brilliant so I was very excited for breakfast! It’s an all you can eat buffet (always a winner for me!) and of course whilst you eat you will get visits from Pooh bear, tigger, piglet and eeyore!
The buffet breakfast definitely didn’t disappoint, there was a selection of pastries, muffins, Mickey waffles, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, omelette’s, potato’s and a selection of cereal. And seeing as breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we made sure to fill ourselves up!! I love the characters at Crystal Palace they are so interactive and there is nothing awkward about this dinning experience. We saw quite a few other couples here and even an older gentleman by himself.
After breakfast Luke and I spent most of our day doing the rides one last time, and managed to get on space mountain 3 times, Thunder mountain twice, Aladdin’s magic carpets, pirates of the Caribbean twice, Peter pans flight, Haunted mansion and buzz lightyears space ranger spin. We also spent some time shopping down main street USA.
The main event for us was Mickeys not so scary Halloween party which would take place from 7pm until late. This would be out 3rd Not so scary in a row, and is one of my most favourite events (click here for the 2016 post on Mickeys not so scary Halloween party)
I love Mickeys not so scary (which is a separate ticketed event) because the Magic Kingdom transforms into a smokey, misty, eerie place but with all the fun of Disney (it’s really not so scary!) The shows, the parades and fireworks are spectacular…. sorry I mean spooktacular! And you also get to do some trick or treating (mainly treating) but who doesn’t love getting lots of candy!!!! You can find designated trick or treating areas throughout MK on MNSSHP, and trust me it’s not just for kids!! Big kids (adults) love getting involved in this too! Well it is Halloween after all!!
With all the parades and shows and fireworks I recommend as always getting a good spot so you don’t miss anything! These are definitely not your average spectaculars, they are beyond amazing!! The parade and shows are shown twice throughout the night, the early showing will tend to be a lot busier than the later one.
My favourite part of the night has to be the hocus Pocas show, it’s one of my favourite films so seeing it performed live is a dream come true! Who doesn’t love the Sanderson sisters!! I love this show so much I watched it twice last year! With an absolutely perfect unrestricted view.
The weather throughout the day had remained unsettled and I was worried that if it rained then the whole thing may have been cancelled. Luckily enough the rain held off, but it was certainly a very chilly day and evening.
To end of our night Luke and I did one more round of trick or treating, and took some final photos, before saying goodbye to the Magic kingdom for the last time on this trip.
We had spent a total of SIXTEEN hours here today, and I had personally done 25,500 steps and covered 10.11 miles!!
It was time to sleep, before our journey home began the next day.
